The start of a joint project with some members from the B&C forum. The top chap is from the Steel Brethren warband, while the bottom one is an Apostle of Minth'Ras.
Thanks! Yeah, that's one of Forge World's Umbra Pattern boltguns. I love them to bits and thought that it was a great way to show just how old some of these Chaos Space Marines are (or how good their looting skills have become ;))
Great to see you working on some marines again! They are looking nice thus far. I really like the crested helmet on the first marine. Also it must agree that the Umbra pattern boltguns are awesome.
I am not sure I really like the bolt pistol on the first marine. The belt-fed pistols always looked wrong to me. How would he even load that pistol? It does not look like the pistol is designed like one of the typical belt-fed machine guns. I would be tempted to add a more traditional magazine on the pistol.
Keep up the good work! I look forward to seeing more.
Concerning the belt-fed bolt pistol, I'll admit that it's not something I had really thought about. I'll have a look into the issue and see what solution I come up with. Whatever happens, I'll most probably post up-to-date pictures just before I start painting.
Oooowww...Nice plastics. Is that an old bolter pattern? Looking forward to what you do with these fellows. :)
